You can use NEXUS EDU without an account. To understand how the platform is used, we record which pages are opened, for how long, roughly where in the world visitors are, and how they found us. We do not sell this information or use it for advertising.

• A random visitor ID and visit ID kept in your browser’s storage, so repeat visits can be counted. They do not contain your name or email.
• The pages you open and how long each one is visible on your screen.
• Your approximate location — country, region and city, and coordinates rounded to about 10 km — as worked out by our hosting provider from your connection. We do not store your IP address.
• The website that sent you to us and the tags in the link you followed (for example, which of our YouTube videos you came from).
• Your device type, operating system, browser, browser language and time zone.
• That a code lab was run (not the code itself).

We store your email address and your course progress so it follows you across devices. Your email is then linked to the visit records above.

We store your email address and the course you chose, and use it only to tell you when that course opens.

The platform runs on third-party infrastructure: hosting and the database, media storage, sign-in, error monitoring (which may record a masked replay of the screen when an error occurs, with all text and inputs hidden), product analytics, and the AI tutor, whose questions are sent to an AI provider to generate answers. These providers process data on our behalf.

While a quiz or lab is open, leaving the tab shows a reminder and is counted on your screen. This count is not sent to us.

You can clear the visitor ID at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser. To have your account or a notification signup deleted, contact us and we will remove it.
